And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.

OUR BELIEFS

Free Ministries Believes...

The Bible

The Bible is God's Word. It is inspired and infallible. It is our perfect guide in all matters of life.

Sin

Sin has separated us all from God, and that only through Jesus Christ can we be reconciled to God.

Salvation

Salvation is the gift of God to man. This gift is effected by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and it produces works pleasing to God.

Baptism

Water baptism is an outward act that demonstrates a believer's identification with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is both God and Man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He led a sinless life, took all our sins upon Himself, died on the cross and rose again. Today, He is seated at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Mediator between us and God the Father.

The Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit is our Comforter. He guides and teaches us in all areas of our lives. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the

evidence of praying in the Spirit. â€‹We believe in the nine gifts of the Spirit and the nine attributes of the fruit of the Spirit.

Life

We believe in the abundant life that Jesus came to give us; that God wants

to transform, heal and prosper us so that we can live blessed and victorious

lives that will impact and help others.

Death

We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again just as He

promised. He will receive those who have passed away [sleep] first, and

those who are alive and remain will meet Him in the air. The believer does

not fear the end, because we will be forever with the Lord. This is comfort for all of those who are in Christ.

Holy Communion

HOLY COMMUNION

Free Ministries regularly partakes of communion

We believe the Holy Communion commemorates the Lord’s death, and we partake of the Holy Communion in remembrance of Him.

The Holy Communion is also known as the Eucharist, from the Greek word eucharistia, which means “thanksgiving”.

At the cross, “He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed."

When we remember and honor the Lord’s death through partaking of the holy Communion by faith, we are giving thanks and receiving afresh all that He has accomplished at the cross on our behalf, which includes health, wholeness, and peace.

OUR PASTORS

Alicia Lauchner

Lead Pastor

For most of my life, I’ve had the privilege of serving God’s people and watching His faithfulness unfold in the lives of those who trust Him. I currently serve as the Lead Pastor of Free Ministries in Knightdale, NC — a church family birthed from a deep desire to help people experience true freedom through the finished work of Jesus Christ.

My heart beats for the presence of God and for creating spaces where His people can grow in grace, walk in truth, and live out their God-given purpose. I’ve spent my life teaching the Word, equipping others to serve, and walking alongside individuals and families through every season — from celebration to sorrow, from breakthrough to rebuilding.

I’m not a pastor because of a title, but because of a calling. The Holy Spirit has been my greatest teacher. Every message I preach and every person I serve is a testimony to His power working through ordinary vessels.

At the core of everything I do is this truth: Jesus still saves, heals, restores, and redeems. My mission is to lead others into that reality — to see hearts set free, families restored, and communities strengthened by His unshakable love.

If you’re looking for a place where the Word is alive, worship is genuine, and people are loved right where they are, I believe you’ll find home here.
